Overall, once we got the skin on it looks great! However, because there are no instructions or guides you have to be really careful to line it all up correctly. This wasn't a huge problem, just takes more time. But, my biggest issue with this skin is that the corners don’t fit well on the corners of the steam deck. This is a bigger problem when it is on the areas that touch your hands, making it uncomfortable to hold. We fixed this issue by removing the pieces that would touch your hands the most. It's just unfortunate to pay this much and not be able to use all the pieces. But, overall the skin fits well and is nice and smooth on the places that are flat.

Quality vinyl, install was a little tough but that is not the skin or maker's fault and is more a function of how many weird curves the deck has. Only major downside is coverage around the triggers is not as the listing shows. But not that bad.
Anyone skinning it I recommend doing what I didn't do until the end and getting out some parchment paper, transferring the skin to some smaller pieces of parchment backing by peeling it off the backing slowly and adding the parchment in strips. The backing it comes on is not very flexible so it makes partially peeling it to line it up very difficult, the parchment solves this. Have a heat gun handy on low and probably a brush to help around the buttons. Overall came out well, a few tiny wrinkles on the complicated corners but I don't know how you would fully avoid them.
