This is a stellar design-it-yourself vinyl wrap for the Switch 2! It took awhile to ship to the US from Australia, but that’s to be expected. They refunded the clear case I purchased with the wrap and didn’t cite a reason. I figured it was either a supply chain issue, or because some people were complaining (in their reviews) the case couldn’t fully snap onto the Switch 2 with the wrap installed. I sourced an improved version of the case off Amazon and has no issues installing it on my wrapped S2. It was my first time ever installing one of these, but I watched a video on YouTube (from a different Co.) that walked me through the process & tools required. The only tutorial video I found from LuxSkinOfficial was an older one for the Switch OLED. While I’m sure it’s the same process, hopefully they’ll update their tutorial video to reflect the new model S2. The web tool used to design the wrap was intuitive & easy to use. It would’ve been nice to attach multiple pics to different parts of wrap, but that’s a high level nitpick. I really appreciated that the wrap included skins for the buttons that were on theme with the colors scheme of the attached source material (although I elected not to use them). The only negative thing I can think of is that the kit did not include a wrap for the backside of the dock, which I have seen on newer DIY S2 wraps. The install process took me several hours, and I learned to not be afraid to pick up the vinyl & apply it again if something was misaligned. I definitely recommend using a hair dryer to help the wrap adhere to curved surfaces and fix air bubbles & micro wrinkles. Be careful tho, because some air bubbles just can’t be worked out. I had a small one that I heated up too much & barely nicked the wrap trying to work it out . I will say that the form fitting clear cases go a long way too help conceal air bubbles & micro abrasions. By and large, I was very pleased with the end result, especially considering the fact that it was my first time ever installing one. I would definitely buy another one of these in the future! This is the perfect way to pimp out your new Switch 2 & express your fandom by giving it a personal touch! Thank you to the team @ LuxSkinOfficial for helping me realize my vision of a Xenoblade X themed Switch 2!!! 🙏🏼
